Note to self...
Make sure there are no chocolate eggs such as this:
-that accompany your clothing through the laundry, or else every article in the load will come out with little stains like this:
This blog chronicles my life as a wife, mom, dental hygienist, photographer, and smart aleck. I make my home in Washington State. My favorite things are laughing, eating good food, taking pictures, cake decorating, blogging, and serving dental missions in third world countries. I stick my foot in my mouth so often we'll go ahead and call that a favorite hobby, too. I like to think of my blog readers as friends I invite into my home. So welcome. Come on in.
YIKES!!! That is the kind of thing that would make me want to throw myself on the floor in a tantrum. While I haven't experienced the joy of chocolate polka-dotted clothing I have experienced melted crayon and that is lots of fun b/c you don't notice it until it goes through the dryer!!! BEWARE OF THE GREEN CRAYON along with the chocolate eggs!!!
ReplyDeleteThat same thing just happened to me the other day. Found one of those very same chocolate eggs when I took the laundry out of the wash (cold water..no worries) I thought I was so lucky to have found that BEFORE it went in the dryer. Then later I pulled the laundry out of the dryer and found another one of those same chocolate eggs....about half the size. I was more fortunate than you however...it wasn't a white load.
ReplyDeleteI think I only have myself to blame. Pretty sure I remmeber sticking a handful of those eggs into my sweatshirt pocket. I'm just wondering how in the world a couple of them went uneaten!
