This blog chronicles my life as a wife, mom, dental hygienist, photographer, and smart aleck. I make my home in Washington State. My favorite things are laughing, eating good food, taking pictures, cake decorating, blogging, and serving dental missions in third world countries. I stick my foot in my mouth so often we'll go ahead and call that a favorite hobby, too. I like to think of my blog readers as friends I invite into my home. So welcome. Come on in.

April Showers Bring May Showers
I was just standing in my room folding clothes on my bed and I thought to myself...What is bugging me? Why am I feeling so sad?
I am not usually affected by the rain much. I live in the Pacific Northwest. This is what I signed up for. But it has been raining so much lately. Everything is very lush and green...but man, today it is just getting to me.

you should plan a trip to kansas. it was sunny today, although supposedly there's a big thunderstorm on it's way in, but those can be cool as long as your not constantly afraid that a tornado is right behind the thunderstorm and instead of sitting on the porch watching the lightning you are glued to your tv set watching the storms play by play on the news' weather radar....anyway...when you come, bring your bike so we can maybe do a little crashing together!
ReplyDeleteRach- I'd love to come out to Kansas. Rike rides without hills! I cannot imagine anything better. Thinking of you in your storm cellar.
ReplyDeletebike rides without hills...that is true, things are pretty darn flat. however, we do have wind resistance. pretty much just like a hill, but you can't see the top of it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with ya! I'm sitting in my office with the blinds closed because I just can't stand to see it anymore!
